Classes are $15 per person. Pre-registration is not required. Pay cash as you enter the class, or use our convenient online option to pre-pay with a credit card. A "ticket" will be e-mailed to you to be printed and presented to the instructor for entry into the class.

In April 2008, the Texas Department of State Health Services (TXDSHS) began accrediting food handler training programs. For the first time ever, there is enforced reciprocity for food handler certifications throughout the state of Texas. Any jurisdiction that requires food handler training must recognize the certification of a food handler who has received training from a state-approved provider. Food Safety Sense was added to that state list in May 2008 (License #5). For more information about the Texas Food Handler Program, visit the Texas Department of State Health Services website.
